For 17 years Ian graced this earth, while marching to beat of his own drum. He loved everything musical. Ian played the family of Saxophones: Soprano, Alto, Tenor, and Baritone. He also played the guitar and performed in numerous recitals as a solo pianist.
He was a member of the Dr. Henry A Wise Jr. High School Marching Band, Concert Band, and Jazz Band. Ian was also selected to be a Saxophonist of the Foundation for the Advancement of Music and Education (F.A.M.E.), and selected for FAME's Jazz Ensemble. He was also a founder and member of " The Village Band 2" with his high school friends. Ian was exceptionally gifted and received multiple awards for his outstanding musical achievements throughout his young career, showcasing his God-given talent.
Ian was an honor roll student , a member of the National Honor Society and Tri-M Music Honor Society. He loved playing video games, building computers, camping, going to the firearms range, and fishing with his dad. As one of the STEM county fair representatives for Dr. Henry A. Wise High School, Ian was inquisitive and loved conducting scientific experiments.
Not only did Ian experiment with scientific projects, but he was also a great cook. Every year he would plant a garden that would provide fresh vegetables all summer for the family. Ian wanted to share his gifts with the world by pursuing a Music Degree at Townson University where he accepted their invitation of admission. He was determined to fulfill his musical goals.
